I finally got my Ram Air to provide a HP gain!!

FINALLY A WORKING RAM AIR SETUP FOR MY CAR!!!

Using this method guarantees me at least 30 more horsepower as well as over a half second better in the quarter mile!!

Ram Air-I'm glad to be done with that. Just couldn't keep the Grand Am anymore. Car had more problems than a Cubscout at the Neverland Ranch. Picked up the Balt about two weeks ago.

Look for some parts to go up for sale, nothing too exciting: Triple gauge pod, Casper's Fan Switch, Custom built Sub box w/ 2-10" Powerbase subs and a Profile 1000w mono amp, junk like that.

I know, I just couldn't resist though. Too many years of watching these boards.

Right now? Paying it off!! In all honesty, the car is more than what I had before, so for now, that is good enough. Emphasis on that FOR NOW part; the mod bug will bite, probably sooner than later.
This thing is a ton of fun. 0-60 is good, 40-90 is great. I should have done this sooner. And even having lots of fun with it, I'm still getting about 24mpg and I do about 85% city driving (being that I live 2.4 miles from work).

Yeah, it's pretty quick. First time I test drove one I was skeptical; after the test drive, I determined that I couldn't find more bang for my buck with that good of mpg

I'm waiting for the turbo versions to come out, whenever that is of course. But that is a very nice ride. I like that color red.

Yeah, I didn't think I'd like the red very much since I like darker colored cars (silver is good too), but it's really grown on me. It has the all black Recaro seats, too; I really did not like the look of the two-tone red/black seats. Blue and yellow accents were even worse.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I'm sure I'll still drop by these boards every now and then to see whats up with everybody and how the GA's are running.

I would've gotten the Turbo SS for sure. They're surprising a LOT of people. Not a bad ride at all though.

This is an 06, so it only cost me $15,500; $12,200 after trade, tax and title

Very nice car!

Someone tell me what this has to do with grand am performance though, and why it's in the all go section? (seriously people, I'm getting tired of this)
